: The Disrespect

Spite Doesn't Make Might

To quote the great Lauryn Hill “Respect is just a minimum”

They cosplay military toughness while across the Atlantic President Zelensky is slaying dragons. Our National Security is at grave risk under this administration, I fear. While they busy themselves de-DEI-ing the military and government, hurricane season is upon us with a FEMA Director that didn’t know there was an actual hurricane season.

They go to great lengths to disrespect marginalized people and communities that offend their white Christian nationalistic moral senses. Others considered renaming: John Lewis-class oilers including the USNS Thurgood Marshall, USNS Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and USNS Harriet Tubman. Unlike Milk, though, some of the ships being considered for renaming have yet to be completed.

  • "I didn't make any progress on improving the [user experience] of veterans' filing disability claims or automating/speeding up claims processing, like I had hoped to when I started,"

  • "In reality, DOGE had no direct authority. The real decisions came from the agency heads appointed by President Trump, who were wise to let DOGE act as the 'fall guy' for unpopular decisions."

  • It sounds a lot like DOGE jobs are the ultimate a waste of time and taxpayer money — though thankfully, Lavigina volunteered to work there for free.
